Across Cumbria, Lancashire and into North Yorkshire, you’ll find Neurocare Physiotherapists near you.

Our team of experienced specialist Neurological Physiotherapists offer treatment from our clinics across Lancashire and South Cumbria, as well as out in the community.

If you find it difficult to get out to a clinic appointment, we can come to you – just get in touch to discuss a home visit.

Our Clinics

We have clinics in Blackpool, Garstang, Carnforth and Kendal and Barrow, allowing easy access to treatment for clients across the North West.

All the clinic rooms are wheelchair accessible and have disabled toilet facilities and parking. Rooms are private, allowing treatment rooms allow us to focus on you and dedicate the time to your treatment.

Clinic appointments are flexible but generally 1 hour in duration to allow adequate time for addressing your problems fully.

At Home

If the clinic environment is not for you or you find it difficult to get out, we can offer assessment and treatment in the comfort of your own home.

  • Treatment at home can be more relaxing for some people. It also helps us to discover your difficulties in your own environment.
  • Home exercise programmes can be easily set up, performed and practiced with you at home.
  • We can properly assess your current aids, equipment and adaptions, and give advice if needed.
  • We can work with you to achieve your own goals at home, eg. being able to walk to the corner shop on your own, get in and out of bed unaided or be more confident on your own stairs.
  • It can be beneficial in helping you build confidence to improve or retain your independence.
  • We can work with your carers to help them understand how best to support you.

Out in the Community

Our team work flexibly and creatively with their clients to find engaging and practical ways to deliver treatment.

Many of our clients benefit from taking their sessions outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and space to move around. Our physiotherapists may suggest a location, or work with their clients to identify and risk assess suitable outdoor spaces in their local area.
