Neurocare Staff Profile - Sarah Jennings

Sarah graduated from the university of Birmingham with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1994.

She then worked at Sandwell hospital in the midlands where she completed her junior rotations and began to specialise in neurology.

Following this she worked at various hospitals including University Hospital Birmingham and a rehabilitation unit in Tamworth gaining wide neurological experience in both acute and rehabilitation settings.

Sarah has worked with patients with a wide variety of neurological problems including stroke, multiple sclerosis, head injury and Parkinson’s disease. Over recent years she has taken a particular interest in the development of services for patients with multiple sclerosis.

She has recently developed her skills in the management of spasticity and has qualified to inject botulinum toxin for spasticity.

Sarah is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) and is registered with the Health Professional Council.
