


Caroline graduated from the University of Teesside with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1997. She worked at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport where she completed her junior rotations and developed a special interest in Neurology. This was developed further by working as a senior physiotherapist at the Devonshire Royal Hospital in Buxton where she worked with a wide variety of neurological patients in a rehabilitation setting, including hydrotherapy.
Since then she has gained a wide experience of working with neurological patients across acute services and rehabilitation in the community and in hospital. She has worked in a variety of locations and was Physiotherapy Team Leader in developing a new Acute Stroke service in Durham in 2007.
Her experience spans in-patient and outpatient rehabilitation of acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, acquired brain injury, MS and Parkinson’s Disease . She has spent some time overseas and worked as a volunteer physiotherapist in a centre for children and adults with neurological problems in Cuzco, Peru.
She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is Registered with the Health Professionals Council.
