


Anita qualified as a physiotherapist in 1982 at Manchester School of Physiotherapy.
An enthusiastic physio with 26 yrs experience and extensive knowledge and understanding of the complex area of rehabilitation both in the NHS and private setting.
She initially enjoyed the challenging role of working with amputees in the specialist unit in Preston. She then developed her specialist skills in neurological and elderly rehabilitation whilst working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in West Lancashire.
She is currently an active member of the intermediate care team in Preston. Her role here is to provide a high standard of physiotherapy care to enable the client to reach their maximum rehabilitation potential within their home environment. She is also lead community physiotherapist in the specialist motor neurone disease service.
She has attended a wide variety of post graduate training courses which have expanded her skills in the Bobath technique, Gait Analysis, and Rehabilitation of the Elderly.
She has also over 10 years experience treating a wide variety of neurological conditions on a private basis in the community setting.
She joined Neurocare in 2006 and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is Registered with the Health Professionals Council.
